Stokes Lawrence Welcomes Robert Bowman, Nadia Bugaighis and Arianah Musser

Stokes Lawrence welcomes Robert Bowman to its Aviation practice as of counsel. Bowman will focus on a wide range of aviation-related matters.

An experienced trial lawyer with deep aviation industry knowledge, Rob’s successful track record is reflected in defense verdicts, appellate victories and favorable settlements in high-exposure mass tort, product liability litigation, and high-profile, catastrophic aviation accidents. Rob provides sophisticated and effective handling of a wide range of aviation-related litigation, including product liability cases and matters involving Part 121, 135 and 91 operators. Rob deploys his experience and qualifications gained through his service as an Officer and helicopter pilot in the United States Army Officer in defending his aviation industry clients.

Rob earned his undergraduate degree in engineering from the United States Military Academy, an MBA from the University of South Florida, and his law degree from the University of St. Thomas School of Law in Minneapolis.

Nadia Bugaighis has joined Stokes Lawrence transactional practice where she counsels clients on a wide variety of business and real estate transactional matters, including transactions for closely held businesses, real estate financing, commercial leasing, purchase and sale agreements, and corporate governance matters.

Nadia is also an experienced insurance coverage litigation attorney. Prior to joining the firm, Nadia practiced insurance coverage and commercial litigation at a large international law firm. There, Nadia represented insurers in complex coverage disputes arising out of commercial general liability policies, employment practices liability policies, cyber liability policies, errors and omissions liability policies, and directors' and officers' liability policies. Nadia routinely handled declaratory judgment and bad faith actions involving interpretation of the policies and claims handling in state and federal courts. Nadia also regularly provided counsel to insurers regarding the availability of coverage for various types of claims, including environmental pollution disputes, construction defects, long-tail allocation issues, school district liability, late notice, additional insured issues, discrimination, cyber-attacks, and IP infringement.

Arianah Musser joins Stokes Lawrence as an associate in the Litigation practice, where she assists clients with business disputes and litigation involving employment matters and contract law.

Prior to joining the firm, Arianah clerked for Judge James Verellen at the Washington State Court of Appeals, Division One. During law school, Arianah spent summers working for the Northwest Immigrant Rights Project (NWIRP) and the Law Office of Jeffrey Goldman. Arianah is fluent in Spanish.
