Stokes Lawrence Welcomes Kathleen Burton

Stokes Lawrence announced that Kathleen Burton joined the firm as an associate in the Financial Services practice. Prior to joining the firm, she worked in the legal department of Intellectual Ventures.

As part of the Financial Services Group, Kathleen will work with financial institutions on a variety of commercial lending transactions, including middle-market commercial lending, commercial real estate lending, small business lending, affordable housing and community development lending, municipal lending, and tax-exempt financing.

“We are happy to have Kathleen join us and support our expanding Financial Services practice,” said Managing Shareholder Kelly Twiss Noonan.

Kathleen earned her J.D., and expects to receive her LL.M. in Taxation, from the University of Washington School of Law. She earned her B.S. in Political Science from Santa Clara University.
