Alternative dispute resolution (ADR), including mediation, arbitration, and other means of resolving disputes outside of a courtroom, is often a cost-effective approach to resolving commercial disputes.

Stokes Lawrence understands the pros and cons of ADR and has successfully handled cases in which arbitration or mediation is required by contract, ordered by a court, or agreed to by the parties.

Our approach includes working closely with our clients to determine the best dispute resolution process to meet their needs. Our attorneys’ arbitration experience, from the perspective of both arbitrator and lawyer/advocate, allows us to effectively counsel clients on strategies for pursuing positive outcomes in either mediation or arbitration proceedings.
