Areas of Practice
Sean is a litigator in our Yakima office and represents private and municipal employers in labor and employment matters. Sean represents employers before state and federal agencies on matters involving wrongful discharge, discrimination, harassment, hostile work environment, retaliation, wage and hour issues (including class action defense), whistleblower conduct, breach of contract, non-competition, FMLA, ADA/WLAD, as well as matters involving unions and collective bargaining.
Sean is a former Deputy Prosecuting Attorney with the Yakima County Prosecuting Attorney's Office where he worked in the Corporate Counsel Division, District Court Unit, and Special Assault Unit. Most recently, Sean spent six years at a Yakima firm assisting clients in labor and employment matters.

Representative Matters
Successfully appealed and overturned NLRB’s conclusion that employer froze pay increases and bonuses in order to discriminate against employees for their union activity. Advanced Life Systems, Inc. v. National Labor Board, 898 F.3d 38 (D.C. Cir. 2018)
Wage & Hour Class Action in Trucking Industry. Obtained favorable pre-mediation settlement of piece-rate, rest break claims. (Adams County Sup. Crt. 2018)
