Benjamin Spruch

Of Counsel | Seattle

Ben Spruch is an estate planning attorney with experience in trust and estate administration, complex tax planning, and business succession strategies. Over the course of his career, he has guided individuals, families, and fiduciaries through the intricacies of wealth preservation, estate tax planning, and asset protection.

Ben’s legal expertise is rooted in a strong foundation of tax law, having begun his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP, in the indirect state and local tax practice. There, he honed his skills analyzing and advising on complex Washington sales and use tax, B&O tax, and real estate excise tax issues, defending state tax audits, and advocating for clients before the Washington State Department of Revenue.

In 2015, Ben joined a Seattle-area law firm, where he developed sophisticated estate plans for high-net-worth individuals, modeled estate and income tax liabilities, and provided strategic counsel to fiduciaries in trust and estate administration. His work encompassed probate, guardianship, and TEDRA matters, ensuring smooth transitions and legal compliance for his clients.

Ben’s practice also includes business succession planning and advising on the formation, maintenance, and transfer of business interests.
